Integration of Ethnic Groups through Environmental Protection

About the project

INTEGRE fostered interethnic dialogue using environmental protection as a tool for reconciliation, successfully integrating the non-majority Serb community into the public waste management service of the Municipality of Peja. Furthermore, waste collection containers were provided to households, public spaces, and schools, accompanied by training sessions on waste separation at source.

This initiative promoted inclusivity, understanding, and shared responsibility for environmental sustainability among different communities.
