Bridging Together for Nature & Sports

About the project

The project brought together Albanian and Serbian students from Peja and Gorazdevac for a three-day environmental & sports workshop and tree planting activities in two respective schools. This initiative promoted intercultural understanding, cooperation, and environmental stewardship among the young participants, fostering unity and shared commitment to environmental protection.

The project demonstrated that environmental issues are an effective tool for inter-ethnic reconciliation and cooperation.

Eco-Loop-Gen

The project aims to raise awareness and empower youth and women entrepreneurs in the Municipality of Gjakova regarding sustainable development, the circular economy, and environmental protection. Organizing eight public events that engaged key environmental stakeholders, including the Minister of Environment, the Mayor of Peja, and local students. These events fostered dialogue, collaboration, and awareness, bringing together leaders and the community to discuss and promote sustainable practices and environmental initiatives in the Municipality of Peja.

Youth Ambassadors

The green areas in the courtyards of the Gymnasium High School and 'Dardania' Primary School were expanded, creating more outdoor spaces where students can engage with nature. This initiative improved the environmental quality of the schools, creating a healthier and more enjoyable learning environment for students.
